NATCHITOCHES – Classes on kenpo karate, water aerobics, floral design and human resource management will be offered in January through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education.

     Kenpo karate will begin Tuesday, Jan. 19 and will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m until 8 p.m. through May 13. The class will be held in Room 127 of the Health and Human Performance Building. The fee is $89 for children seven through 14 and $99 for those over 14.

     Water aerobics will begin Wednesday, Jan. 20 and will be offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in Nesom Natatorium through May 14. The fee is $95.

     Basic floral design will be taught on Saturday, Jan. 23, 30 and Feb. 6 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at The Master’s Bouquet at 108 South Drive in Natchitoches. The cost for the class is $200 plus a $100 supply fee.

     A Society for Human Resource Management Certificate Prep Course will be offered beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19. The class will be on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish through April 27. The fee is $825, which includes an SHRM Information Binder.
