NATCHITOCHES – All international students are invited to an international student panel from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 in the Second Floor Reading Room of the Watson Library hosted by Phi Beta Delta, the Honor Society for International Scholars.

Upperclass international students will discuss their experiences at Northwestern State University and share useful information about life as an international student. Business/music major Mario Alejandro Torres from Honduras is one of the organizers of the event.

“I would have found an event like this useful at the beginning of my studies at NSU,” Torres said. “I hope that we can help the newer international students feel comfortable in their environment.”

Questions about all aspects of university life will be addressed. Hospitality major Jenny Ramos and communications major Andrea Nedorostová will also be on the panel. For more information contact Sharon Joy at 357-5754 or joys@nsula.edu.
