NATCHITOCHES – The Mrs. H.D. Dear Sr. and Alice E. Dear School of Creative and Performing Arts is sponsoring a series of Outdoor Chamber Lunch Concerts. The concerts will be on April 10, 17, 24 and May 1 from 11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. in the quadrangle between Morrison Hall, Fournet Hall and the Family and Consumer Science Building.
Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. Those attending can bring their lunch or order a box lunch for $8 by contacting Dr. Kristine Coreil at (318) 357-5765 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The series includes performances by the NSU Cello Ensemble led by Paul Christopher on April 10 and the NSU Men’s Chorus led by Michael Rorex and NSU Trombone Choir led by Dr. J. Mark Thompson on April 17.
Two student saxophone quartets led by Dr. Paul Forsyth will play on April 24. The NSU Horn Choir led by Coreil will close the series on May 1.
