Why I like working at Northwestern State:  I like working at NSU because of the teaching and connection to students.   As important as research is for the advancement of knowledge, I think that teaching students carries the most reward.  I readily identify with the mission of regional teaching universities.  Our area of the state has so many needs.   Many of our department’s graduates are right here, working to meet those needs.
