Thirty-two students named to Who's Who

NATCHITOCHES – Thirty-two Northwestern State University students were named to the 2012 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.

Those chosen were Jonathan Bordelon of Moreauville, Kali Broussard and Taylor Orgeron of Abbeville, Veronica Choyce and Carderius Johnson of Shreveport, Ashley Davis of Florien, Sarah Durham of Alexandria, Candace Ford, Marquise Johnson, Gabrielle LaCabe and Tim Sandifer of Natchitoches and Theresa Halle of Houston.

This year’s honorees also included Matthew Haskins of Folsom, Jackson Harmeyer of Boyce, Brittany Jeanice of Everett, Wash., Kelsey Kinnison of Grayson, Christopher Lanier of Flint, Texas, Kwame Lilly of Forney, Texas, Alyssa McDaniel-Dupre of Ville Platte, Solomon Matthews of Kenner, Taylor Morgan of Geismar, Casey Palombo of Kaplan and Jessica Ratelle of Baton Rouge.

Also named were Brittany Rogers of Bourg, John Reynolds Sewell of Pineville, Marissa Sonnier of Gueydan, Sarah Spain of Lafayette, Sussette Thomas-Lane of Many, Stephen Thompson of Nacogdoches, Texas, Ashley Tolliver of Bossier City, Lauren Waguespack of Gonzales and Jessica Weeks of Slidell.

The students were chosen by campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.
